Shrikanth Bhola was born on July 7, 1991, into a Telugu-speaking family in Seetharamapuram, Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. From birth, Bolla was visually impaired, a condition that posed significant challenges throughout his early life. His parents, who were first cousins, relied primarily on farming to sustain their family, grappling with extreme poverty and lack of resources, including basic amenities like electricity.
Bolla’s resilience and determination shone through. His early education was fraught with obstacles, especially when he expressed a desire to study science. Facing rejection due to his visual impairment, Bolla fought back by filing a court case. Six months later, he won the right to study science, and he excelled, scoring a remarkable 98% in his XII board exams.
In 2012, Srikanth Bolla married Veera Swathi. The couple welcomed their daughter, Naina, in 2024. Her name, meaning “eyes,” symbolizes vision and hope—a fitting tribute from a father who has overcome so much despite his visual impairment.
